Plant-based items to be available at their most competitive pricing at mass retailer

Dyper announced today that its soft, absorbent, plant-based baby diapers and wipes will be available in most Walmart U.S. stores and online at Walmart.com beginning this month.
“As a father of three, making responsible diapering accessible and convenient to all families has been on my mind from the day I started this business,” said Sergio Radovcic, Founder and CEO of DYPER. “Collaborating with Walmart is a major milestone in our quest to provide a viable alternative to conventional diapers and wipes that don’t sacrifice performance or functionality at an everyday low price.”
Walmart’s scale allows these high-performing diapers and wipes to be offered at their most competitive prices ever with suggested retail prices of $14.98, $27.98, and $44.98 for various counts in size newborn to size 6. The wipes have suggested retail prices of $3.98 for 60 wipes and $14.98 for 240 wipes.
Made with plant-based materials and without harmful chemicals, Dyper’s diapers and wipes can be returned for disposal via the optional landfill avoidance program, REDYPER. With the average child using around 3,700 plastic-filled disposable diapers, more than 27 billion end up in U.S. landfills each year where they sit for approximately 500 years before breaking down. Taking advantage of this program allows customers to reduce the impact of their diapering journey through centralized collection and commercial composting.
“Customers choose Walmart for trusted products at everyday low prices. With Dyper, we are adding to a growing portfolio of products that prioritize quality along with value. We are excited to feature these high-performing, plant-based diapers for customers looking for those features,” says Ralph Clare, Vice President, Merchandising, Baby Consumables, Walmart U.S.
